Why Families Trust Restoration

Clinical Rigor, Human Connection

We lead with evidence-based modalities—DBT, ACT, and CBT—delivered by experts who prioritize authenticity over clinical coldness.

Narrative-First Philosophy

We are the only program in the DFW area built on Narrative Therapy, helping teens separate their identity from their diagnosis.

Academic & Future Continuity

With on-site certified teachers and direct district coordination, we ensure your teen’s mental health doesn't cost them their education.

Designed for Healing, Not Hiding

Our space replaces sterile white walls with exposed brick, warm wood, and vibrant murals to communicate immediate safety and hope.

Whole-Family Restoration

We treat the entire family system through weekly support groups, "Lunch & Learns," and intensive workshops because lasting change happens at home.

Whole-Person Wellness

Our program integrates clinical care with nutrition from Awesome Times, sleep hygiene, and body-based practices like trauma-informed yoga.

Frequently asked Questions

Is a PHP the right mental health care level for my teen?

A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a vital step between weekly therapy and inpatient stays. If your child struggles with school refusal or mood shifts that disrupt daily life, our 5-day structured program in Flower Mound offers the clinical momentum needed for recovery without an overnight hospital stay.

How does Restoration differ from traditional teen PHP?

Traditional hospitals often treat a diagnosis; we restore the person. By using Narrative Therapy, we help teenagers separate their identity from their struggles. Our facility is a warm, intentional space that feels like home, proving that a healing environment is just as important as clinical work.

Will my teenager fall behind in school during treatment?

No. We prioritize academic continuity. Our certified teachers coordinate with local North Texas school districts to manage 504 plans, IEPs, and credit recovery. Your teen focuses on mental health while staying on track for graduation and future goals.

What is the parent's role in the Restoration program?

Family involvement is the best predictor of long-term success. We require parents to join weekly support groups and clinical "Lunch & Learns." Because we treat the whole family system, you gain the tools to support your teen's progress long after they leave our program.

What is a "Re Word" and how does it help my child?

Every teen chooses a "compass word"—like Reclaim, Rewrite, or Reconnect—to anchor their journey. This unique framework turns treatment into a proactive story of growth. It gives your family a shared language to celebrate small wins and track real change.

Do you accept insurance for therapy sessions?

I don't directly accept insurance at this time. However, I believe everyone deserves access to quality mental health support. If you're interested in working together but the session cost is a concern, please reach out! I offer sliding scale pricing for clients to help make therapy more accessible. We can discuss this during your free 15-minute consultation.

Good things are going to happen. Let’s start today.

When something doesn’t feel right with your teen, it’s hard to ignore — and reaching out is a meaningful first step. Start with a conversation. Ask the questions. Let us walk alongside you as you find the next right step. There is hope ahead — and we’re here to help you move toward it.
